“Everyone who’s ever taken a shower has had an idea. It’s the person who gets out of the shower, dries off, and does something about it who makes a difference.”

—Nolan Bushnell

Leading my life with joy!

If there is one thing I’ve learned throughout my many lanes of exploration, it is that doing great work directly relates to your core values, your why. With the intrinsic drive to do my best work in the most efficient way, while having a good time doing it—I bring an encouraging, motivated, and curiosity driven dynamic to any team environment.

My background

I graduated from San Diego State University with a bachelors in Communication and Design Lab’s UX Design Academy. I have a combined professional background in Design, Education, and Customer Experience. I know that’s a lot of lanes–right?

Currently, I’m a Technical Support Engineer at a Fortune 200 SaaS company, where I collaborate with the PDE teams supporting customers and design for #Slackday. Previously, I taught Art & Experiential Education, and built a clothing company.

I’ve learned the value of empathy and collaboration from all of these experiences. There’s nothing quite like parents relying on you to protect their kids in high risk settings, like traveling across country lines or learning to rock climb. Combine that with vending my designs and scaling that to a 1000 piece clothing line and you can say I’ve worn many hats. I’m well versed in collaborating with a wide variety of teams and am not afraid of getting a little uncomfortable and entering into new spaces. I’ve used the design process many times, curating countless experiences for my students and customers, the “users” of my products.

When I discovered UX Design I felt that it was the perfect avenue to fashion my many hats—and here I am!
